About Yoga 

  1. What is Yin Yoga?
    Yin Yoga is a style of yoga in which poses are held longer with props, for about 5-15 min depending on a pose. Holding the pose longer helps to reduce pain, lower stress and anxiety and helps the mind and body relax deeply.
  2. What is the membership cost?
    Yoga Membership is $80.00 per month. It includes unlimited yoga classes in that month.
  3. What is Restorative Yoga?
    Restorative yoga is a gentle style of yoga in which easy and simple poses are practiced with the focus on the breath to promote relaxation, relieve pain and lower stress and anxiety!
  4. What classes are great for beginners?
    All our classes are suitable for beginners. Please let the yoga instructor know that you are a beginner and discuss your health conditions prior to class. It helps avoid any poses that may be contraindicated in your health condition.
  5. What do I need to bring?
    We have yoga mats, blocks, blankets and bolsters that you can use at no additional cost. You can bring a water bottle, a small towel with you. You can also bring your own mat if you want.
  6. Is this Yoga suitable for me?
    We teach gentle and restorative yoga which is perfect for people suffering from chronic back/neck pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue as well as runners and athletes who want to deeply relax their bodies so they can recover and renew.
  7. Do you offer private yoga sessions?
    Yes. We do offer private yoga sessions for beginners or people suffering from chronic conditions who need extra support and assistance. Private sessions are also great for people who want to take their health and fitness to the next level.

About Massage Therapy

  1. What type of therapies do you offer?
    We offer following therapies for chronic pain management: Craniosacral Therapy or CST Myofascial Release or MFR
  2. What is the cost for massage therapy treatment?
    For non-members: For MFR and CST: $150 per hour. For members: MFR & CST: $ 125 / hour
  3. What is Craniosacral Therapy (CST)?
    CST is a very gentle, hands-on technique where therapist places her hands on the areas of restrictions and helps reduce the muscle tension, alleviate stress and relieve pain. It is highly effective in reducing neck/back pain & headaches.
  4. What is Myofascial Release (MFR)?
    MFR is a form of manual therapy in which therapist places gentle but sustained pressure on areas of restrictions and helps to stretch out the tight muscles and improve the range of motion of stiff and painful joints. It is very effective in reducing chronic pain and restoring function.
  5. I don't know what therapy I need. Please help!
    If you are frustrated with your current pain management and would like to explore more options, give Anjali a call. She will discuss your current health issues and recommend a treatment plan that is just right for you. Most often we use the combination of these therapies.
